RFortran fails to install on Windows 7 #76

*** What steps will reproduce the problem?

RFortran installer appears to fail on windows 7 (logged in as administrator).
Error message regarding renaming of some folders (?).

Also an error when modifying RProfile.set.

Also on some systems an error when installing the statconnector (again,
something to do with permissions?)

As a result, RFortran cannot be correctly installed.

*** What version of RFortran are you using?

*** On which Windows operating system?

Windows 7. Non-english version.

*** Please provide any additional information below.

Windows 7 appears to have more complex permission setup. Not clear if
additional settings are needed so the installer can add paths, etc

Also, the RProfile.set file appears read-only in windows 7 and I have been
unable to save it when adding the library(rcom) line.

Recommended action: Test RFortran installation/operation on Windows 7 and Vista.

The development team does not have access to Windows 7 currently. Though will
do in the coming months and so is unable to test this/diagnose problems

Please provide more information on the errors during installation.

For example cut and paste the messages from the installer.

I have heard that Windows 7 does not allow modification of the folders in
program files folder (even for admin). Therefore I suggest you install RFortran
and also R in another folder other than program files, as a workaround this may
work.
