Do you have the same symptoms if you view your file using the viewer at
http://mozilla.github.com/pdf.js/web/viewer.html?

Sorry, I wasn't clear. Since it is a Word doc the web-based viewers I suggested
will not work. Instead you will need to upload the PDF which Alfresco
generates. You can access this from the 'Download' menu in the pdf.js viewer
inside Alfresco labeled 'Download PDF'.

I am not able to reproduce this issue here. Please add a comment if you manage
to reproduce on other systems or using a different Firefox profile.
