9 years ago Did you try to pull down the notification banner on the lockscreen twice (do as if there was an action button)? On Android 5, this stops the sound notification for me.

If screen is locked before timer is triggered it is not possible to stop alarm without unlocking device first (which is quite inconvenient). Some alarm clocks allow to stop alert without unlocking device. Please implement dialog to stop ringing timer without unlocking device. Thanks.
