screen remains off when alarm is ringing #6

Screen remains off when countdown timer triggers alert so I have to use power button to switch screen on while device is ringing (and sometimes unlock it) before I can access application where alert can be stopped. Perhaps it could be useful to automatically wake up device to show ringing timer...

Please do not automatically switch on the screen when an alarms gets triggered. This is horrible when i have my Smartphone in the pocket. My thigh then controls my Smartphone via the touch screen without my knoledge.

A compromise could be to make it configurable.
