CPLD is EOL. Any plans for switching to another CPLD or FPGA? #361

Hello, I was interested in this project but I see a PCN has been sent this past month announcing EOL for most (it may be all AMD/Xilinx) CPLDs. Last time buy is end of June at least.

Any plans on utilizing a different CPLD or FPGA?

I've been wondering if a Raspberry Pi RP2040 could be pressed into duty in place of a CPLD. It seems like some people have been able to get them to do some amount of video signal capture.
