Pallet problem with Atari STacy/RGB2HDMI? #400

Hi. I installed the RGB2HDMI mod that I bought from RetroSellers and it seemed to go okay.

This was installed into an Atari STacy.

However, I noticed that the colors on screen were very different than the standard Atari ST -TOS desktop. I was able to use the color CPX from the control panel to adjust them but they really shouldn't be that way. I asked other Atari ST users who are also using the mod and they said they never had this problem.

I can send pictures of the installation and odd colored desktop before adjustment if that helps.

Thanks.

It sounds like one or more RGB bits are stuck. Is there a video test program you can use to display RGB colour gradients as that will show which bits, if any, are not working.

This thread relates to the STE but shows the sort of test program you need to use: https://github.com/hoglet67/RGBtoHDMI/issues/367
