Critique from Bo Zhao:

[1] The object control still needs to be improved. Think about that, potree provides a list of interaction options. I do not think it is a good solution, I'd rather encourage you lo learn how Google earth dealing with 3d scene controls.

[2] Social media components will help you advertise this wonderful toolkit.

[3] I really enjoy the tutorial you have provided, maybe it could be shown when the user initializes the web page?

[4] Again, I still believe the integration with cesium will make this project beneficial to a larger community. Since you have already explore the potentials, I would encourage you further explore the possibilities, and I am here to help.

[5] The project summary and other relevant information can be enriched. You can tell that, more descriptions of this project will help you to draw a much broader attentions from your targeted audience.

[6] I understand that most of your work is done by you individually, which is great! Other than that, I encourage you recall and acknowledge every piece of contributions from other agencies or people who have helped you. For example, the base map you use? The facilities you used to take photos.

[7] in the future, I think about what kind of application your project can support? for example, adding more interactions with users, VR or AR support, street view, geo-referenced map, etc.

  1. Definitely could improve the user interface
  2. Not a high priority right now
  3. I'd prefer it not pop up initially every time... maybe could use a cookie or something so it only pops up on first view
  4. Could maybe enable a button to toggle the Cesium viewer, but I found it to be rather distracting
  5. Definitely could add some more here
  6. I added some more attribution to the info page
  7. Maybe some panorama images as well
