This should be resolved now so that if you have already signed up with your email it will resend a verification code.
It is also requesting the invite code again, but once the initial code is entered, it informs users that code has already been used.
This case doesn't seem to be solved.

The onboarding flow will not let users who have already created accounts through the initial invite code gate.
User deleted and reinstalled Realm and was forced to provide a new email address during onboarding.

It will not let them change the contact email address back to the original because it says there are already accounts.
