I looked more into the API:

Without playing with it, it seems to lack a RESTful interface. It seems surprising to me, but it may require polling to get the data, and when the data arrives, it looks like it might be all of the data. I think I must be missing something here.
There is no API access to Blue Smart, Zigbee, or ZWave. At least not yet, or not that I can see.

On the good news front. I can probably strip a lot of stuff from the NEST module to at least create some barebones access to the API. It wouldn't be user friendly, but it would provide raw code level access and could probably be done quickly.

I think Larry Roudebush wrote Wink support for MH, it's on a blog of his but I don't think it's in the repository.
