Adds option to select storage backend once the conductor supports it.

This is NOT a breaking change :). Holoscape will continue to work even if the conductor doesn't support setting the storage backend over RPC the extra param will just be ignored so we can merge this right away

I think you want the merge base for the PR to be develop not master...
