Ticker is tacky #22

Please describe the issue:

When using the ticker, the output looks really tacky. It isn't smooth as it supposed to be.

What steps can you take to reproduce the issue (or what do you think caused it)?

Happens every time using Holographics and an BMD UltraStudio HD

Please describe your setup:

MacBook Pro 15" i9 16GB, BMD Ultra Studio HD

The DeckLink output does drop frames. I have a proof-of-concept that fixes this problem but it is not yet integrated in Holographics (as of v1.10.0).
