Use kube-prometheus. The kube-prometheus-stack helm charts consistently creates friction.

Refer to Customizing Kube-Prometheus

Might be time to teach holos about jsonnet.

This is done. Staying true to upstream the process is to:

(cd components/monitoring/kube-prometheus && ./build.sh)
holos render platform ./platform
