Problem using interact in jupyterlab #1113

Description of expected behavior and the observed behavior

When I use interact the value ABOVE the slider (see sample code) does update but the value UNDER the slider does not change.

Oddly enough this problem vanished ... I have been struggling for days to make it work and it simply refused to. Than I played with the example on: https://panel.holoviz.org/reference/panes/HoloViews.html#panes-gallery-holoviews

That worked and magically this also made the simple code work. Even after resetting my kernel this was the case. I also restarted my computer and ... it worked. Unfortunately I dont understand what magic has passed by ;)
