I assume these are supposed to be indented? (see screenshots)
The initial instructions (Use it now section), I was initially confused where the new folder was being created, until I realised that it was dependent on which directory I was in in the terminal (could be something more difficult for users who aren't as familiar terminLive Demo:
Currently the GitHub in the corner button links to github.com in the live example, instead of what I assume is the purpose back to the respective repo / .qmd file in the respective repo?
Lumo / Johann's personal preferences:
I find the white spacing, ever so slightly too large (maybe it's my laptop/monitor size, but would prefer it to be a bit smaller.
The CSS for the DT Table is awesome, I always have found it ever so slightly too big, I'll actually be wanting to take this and use it for some of my own reactable tables! Thanks for the tip!
Similarly, I think I prefer a slightly greyer/grey. Either way, these would be easy features to adjust based off every user's preference.
I really enjoy the CSS for the code comments. Similarly, the .column-margin is a great touch to add additional commentary.
I think I would prefer slightly more padding and margin-right for the nav-pills.
It would be a nice standardisation to have the 'Session Info' button and the nav-pills to have the same style.
I really like the horizontal separator, again very clean and swift!! Similarly, the "border-bottom" for the h2 titles is very nice.
Nice to have's:
It would be awesome if the author could also be a hyperlink to their respective github profile or whatever provided url
An extra tutorial section on how to edit the _extensions, could be useful, I've got limited html/css knowledge so that's something I would be interested in, but glad that it's well commented out in all of the respective _extensions files.
Unsure if this is possible (actually, I'm sure it somehow is, but unsure how to execute this technically), it would be nice if the table of contents wouldn't immediately dissapear once you scroll to a part of the html doc containing the screen column (leaflet). A bit clunky, but generally that again like the above is a personal preference! :)
I love having 'code-link: true' and now just scroll over functions out of habit expecting these all having the respective function link.
This is my first use of quarto extensions, this is very cool and seems quite straightforward to construct using the _extensions.yml file.
Loved it! I really appreciate the clean modern slick style and feel.
Here's a few snippets of suggestions that I found:
First off, here's a few super minor things I noticed on the website (https://www.productive-r-workflow.com/r/bonus/lumo-quarto-template):
