Better Icon - Githubissues

I stumbled across your project when someone requested we add an icon for it in our theme. I was shocked by how bad it was and thought we'd been sent the wrong file by mistake. That's when I saw this:

You may have questions on the icon. Nice shot. In fact most of the Nuntius development time has been spent on the icon design concept. If you have suggestions on how to improve it we are very open... but... we think it is hardly possible to do better than this.

This really worried me. Honestly guys, you can do so much better than the icon you've got:

Different design styles between the hat and the lobster
Massive proportion scaling between the hat and the lobster
Inconsistent light sources throughout
Nonsensical stacking of graphical objects
Icon not at all representative of what the program does or even its name

As a designer I'd be more than happy to work with you on making a new icon which more accurately represents your application, or at the very very least improve the current iteration.

Hehe.... "...we think it is hardly possible to do better than this."That line was obviously a joke. We started this project for fun and we ended up with this icon which made us laugh... So we kept it.

But we are really very open on improving it, so any proposal is welcome!

BTW, how is it possible you did not notice the two claws meaning? They interconnect the sender to the receiver of the message! And the hat has something to do with an apostolic nuntius which is... a messenger! I'm joking again but there was some (non)sense in the choice!

So we would be glad if you could make a proposal!

If you are still open to suggestions, I figured a phone sending signal waves to a pc would be nice. Maybe add a penguin for a cute touch. :)
