Fix patch for vala 0.42.0 #81

I went too quick yesterday and apparently I made a mistake somewhere. The previous version of the patch don't compile as boolean are non nullable. This is a new version of the patch that should work but as last time it was compiling for me when it should not have, could you confirm that it works for you too please?
