I didn't even know that you could execute Shortcuts from the Apple watch. I gave it a try, and some of them work. My bet is that only "In extension" Shortcuts will work.
Being able to execute shortcuts from the watch, is one of the more useful features of the watch (IMHO). However, I believe you are correct that they must be in-extension Shortcuts. I guess I will stick with the focus work-around when I need to run ashell from the watch.

Is there a way to execute an iOS shortcut from the Apple Watch that calls ashell? I am getting the message that it cannot be done from here and to execute it on the iPhone. I believe there is a workaround by using focus mode, but I wondered if there might be a more direct way to use ashell from the watch.
