2 months ago Hi, I have the same issue since latest updates, short audio clips are now chopped up (like someone turning volume up and down rapidly). If I experiment with Media Radio Browser sometimes it's ok other times completely chopped up audio.

I'm facing a similar issue here starting from the May release. In my case, I do get some sound, but it's intermittent and chopping all the time.
Here's the details of my HA setup:

I had the same problem with VLC-TELNET after the last updates.
Core 2024.5.2 Supervisor 2024.05.1 Operating System 12.3 Frontend 20240501.1
After backup to Core 2024.5.1 the problem was still there. This seems that the problem must come from the operating system 12.3. So I tried to boot from the previous version (operating system 12.2).
From CLI: ha os boot-slot other
Now everything worked as it should again, and so I skiped the update to 12.3

I can confirm that OS 12.3 seems to have caused this. After moving back to OS 12.2, the issue seems to disappear. Have you already reported this to OS team? I guess if we don't report it, the issue won't be fixed and we'll be stuck on an old OS version.

1 month ago VLC works here but... VLC First 10 seconds , cutting audio. Then normal. MPD works but not thru audioberry (wich delivered quality audio before)
