1 year ago I think this should work on Android as well but need to test it and my current instance does not have any image entities. Need to get one added to test.

I noticed something not mentioned in the docs that works well. Discovered it in the new image entity code (HA 2023.7.0). Check out this issue for more details: https://github.com/home-assistant/iOS/issues/2391.
I tested it on iOS successfully, but do not have an Android device to test.
