Can't connect to Aranet via Shelly Bluetooth proxy #101283

Closed andrzej-r closed 11 months ago

The problem

I have an Aranet4 device with firmware v1.3.5 and "Smart Home integration" enabled. I also have a Shelly Plus 2PM device with firmware v1.0.3 (latest), and with all Bluetooth-related options switched on (Enable Bluetooth, Enable RPC, Enable Bluetooth gateway). The Shelly integration is configured with Bluetooth scanner mode set to Active. The host computer I am running HA on does not have Bluetooth adapter, so I am relying on proxy alone.

When I try to add Aranet integration I am presented with a dialog box saying:

Aranet
Choose a device to set up
Device
[x]
Submit

When I click Submit I get an error message saying: Unknown error occurred

I get the same error regardless of the distance between Aranet4 and Shelly.
