Update: The device has now been recognized successfully and is working well. I do not what has fixed the issue. In addition to waiting ~15 minutes longer I have also:
v0.14.1
firmware and both Enable Bluetooth
and Enable Bluetooth gateway
options on (Enable RPC
option was not available). This device is placed in a separate building ~10m away, beyond the usual Bluetooth range.Hey there @aschmitz, @thecode, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (aranet
) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

The problem
I have an Aranet4 device with firmware
v1.3.5
and "Smart Home integration" enabled. I also have a Shelly Plus 2PM device with firmwarev1.0.3 (latest)
, and with all Bluetooth-related options switched on (Enable Bluetooth
,Enable RPC
,Enable Bluetooth gateway
). The Shelly integration is configured withBluetooth scanner mode
set toActive
. The host computer I am running HA on does not have Bluetooth adapter, so I am relying on proxy alone. When I try to add Aranet integration I am presented with a dialog box saying:
When I click
Submit
I get an error message saying:Unknown error occurred
I get the same error regardless of the distance between Aranet4 and Shelly.
