I had all lamps connected but one which consistently fails. First generation E25 lightbulb. Where can I find the logs?

Hey there @zewelor, @shenxn, @starkillerog, @alexyao2015, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (yeelight) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

Here the integration works, but poorly. I have the strip from Yeelight and only use the switch. The LED strip can be turned on and off instantly, but cannot be turned on again. Waits 15 seconds. During this time, its state will not change, even if it is physically turned off.

ifflanb commented 11 months ago

Mine is a Yeelight strip 6 and doesn't work at all. The integration won't load.

in 2023.10.1 it worked fine, I skipped 2023.10.2 and after installing 2023.10.3 yeelight integration stopped working. [if it helps: the same with xiaomi_miio - maybe it's somehow related?]

I use HA container installation btw.

ifflanb commented 11 months ago

Anyone looking at this or anyone know of an alternate integration? thanks

ifflanb commented 11 months ago

Changed to use Mi Home and the Xiaomi Miot integration which works fine.

Well… it’s still broken. In my case Meteorite Pendant lamp YLDL01YL (ceiling10) could not be set up (even when added it again) and work anymore - “Failed setup, will retry”. Xiaomi > Xiaomi Miio Integration does not work with this device… (does not know it even so it’s Gen1) so I am left with only Xiaomi app…

So either they changed something around authorization or something deeper in HA broke it…

Edit: I was blind or something - works with Miot Integration mentioned post before

Hello. I'm experiencing the very same problem: ceiling10 (Meteroite Pendant) not working with Yeelight intergration, while it is working with the HASS Miot integration. However, the latter is not as responsive as the Yeelight integration and color selection is not correct.

Did you success to reconfigure the ceiling10 with the official Yeelight integration?

pepe59 commented 7 months ago

Yes, the problem still persists.

Have you all tried power cycling the device, ensuring lan control is enabled in the yeelight app, and reloading the integration?

Hi @alexyao2015. THANK YOU for this advice: I just branched off my ceiling from the AC, waited some time, rebranched the power wire, and... the integration restarted working as usual.

However it seems strange to me that everything was working with the Yeelight app, as well as with the HACS Miot integration (configured after the problem with the Yeelight one occurred).

All is good what ends good. Thanks

Not sure if my recent issue is related, but it sure feels like it. Seemingly at the same time, all of my Yeelights stopped working. In the Yeelight App, they were all online and responsive. Yet HA was reporting as unresponsive. I had to physically power cycle all my bulbs. After 30 seconds or so, they all started working in HA assistant again.

Needing to power cycle the bulbs to restore HA connectivity is a pain. The Yeelight app does not seem to have any issue, so I feel this is an issue with the integration. Please let me know what kinds of logs I can pull that might help diagnose this issue.

How did you implement the control in your automation with the HACS miot integration? You have to use there own services there, don't you? Unfortunately, they are not described in great detail. I have successfully switched on the lamp with the following service, but the entity does not change! Do I have to start any other service afterwards?

service: xiaomi_miot.send_command data: entity_id: light.yeelink_ceiling4_0ca5_main_light params: "on" method: set_power
