Same here. All my entities disappeared. Re-configuring the integration doesn't solve this. I can verify that the hub and sensors are working using the Ecowitt app.

All this started after upgrading my HA to 2023.12.

MarcSeebold commented 7 months ago

Work-around: Downgrade HA core:

ha core update --version=2023.11.3
jwoodard80 commented 6 months ago

Can someone provide an update if this is being worked on? @pvizeli is there anything we can do to help resolve this?

menno99 commented 6 months ago

On Dec. 15 at about 1 p.m., all of Ecowitt's entities became visible again. I don't know exactly how it was resolved. Maybe someone has an explanation for this. HA version 2023.12.2

jwoodard80 commented 6 months ago

This makes no sense to me either. Its a local setup so there should be no "cloud change" to alter anything.

I'm glad its working just none of it makes sense. Lol

I have the same problem since doing update 3 days ago. My ecowitt is still not working.

minnican commented 6 months ago

All Ecowitt entities unavailable for me too. Screenshot 2023-12-21 071401

minnican commented 6 months ago

Ok my bad. The IP address of the HomeAssistant had been changed by my router. I deleted the Ecowitt device and added it again. All sorted now.

cybermailer84 commented 6 months ago

My ip is fixed. Maybe i try to check the ip definition in ecowitt maybe something changed there...

cybermailer84 commented 6 months ago

nearly same error on the other side, my ecowitt device lost ip configuration after powerloss.

The update process was an the same day therefore i was wrong with my thinking...

menno99 commented 6 months ago

Updated yesterday to 2023.12.4. For the second time all sensors of the Ecowitt inaccessible. I hope there is a good solution to this problem.

lyle commented 6 months ago

In my HA for version 2023.12.4 some of the Ecowitt sensors are not showing up... lost most of the rain sensors - and the battery.
