TP-link KS200M no motion detector on home assistant #106539

The problem

The ks200m device on home assistant is missing a motion sensor detector. The device has a motion sensor on it and I don’t see it on home assistant can you please add it to home assistant image image image image

I thought I was going crazy... I bought this switch because of the motion detector. Thanks for reporting it...

OK, looks like this isnt able to be fixed, see thread #74445

The thread was opened back in 2022 it's now 2024 it had time to be looked at and added in home assistant

Nothing has changed in regards to the protocol tplink offers so this isn't likely to ever happen as I don't think the vendor has any plans to offer a push api for these devices (at least not one we will be able to use in HA).
