From what I can tell NLG and NLT don't have actual value in HA, but please correct me if I'm wrong. NLG is a gateway and NLT is a remote control. Neither can be actually controlled (at least the NLT) from what I can tell.
If you think otherwise please provide the corresponding data from https://dev.netatmo.com/apidocumentation/control#homestatus.
thanks mate. I already did the homestatus command and actually I saw this two modules missing. The NLT is a so called wireless switch. It is actually a physical switch but not wired and it commands the scenes home / away. On the NLG you are right, is the gateway. So I should see the wireless switch at least... And actually I did realized that the energy meter is not in the homestatus list and should be an NLE or NLPC. In this case the problem is that Netatmo connect is not seeing it...
NLT is not a controllable but a remote control, is that right?
NLT is a switch, the only thing is that is wireless and not wired
In that case, could you provide me with samples from /homesdata
and /homestatus
for that device so that I can fabricate test cases?
here it is!
/homesdata: { id:"00:04:74:00:00:81:ac:23" type:"NLT" name:"Scenario entra - esci" setup_date:1591549196 room_id:"805554436" bridge:"00:04:74:14:c8:42" }
/homestatus { id:"00:04:74:00:00:81:ac:23" type:"NLT" battery_state:"medium" battery_level:2200 firmware_revision:70 last_seen:1705082532 reachable:true bridge:"00:04:74:14:c8:42" }
Hm, to me this looks like there is no attribute that makes this a switch or anything that can be controlled for that matter.
The documentation lists this as a remote control https://dev.netatmo.com/apidocumentation/control#Scenario
So, IMO there is no real use in HA other than maybe show when it's battery is empty.
To quote the Netatmo documentation:
These products do not offer any remote interaction. It is only possible to know that they exist in a home
mmm... that is very strange... in Homekit this is clossified as remote switch and is visible...
Well, could it be that it is actually showing its target?
it is showing two buttons instead of a switch...
Since there is nothing useful in the API response this can not be implemented.
Very strange... very very strange
Strange indeed. I am happy to implement functionality once available via the API. Until then we're out of luck.
thumb up! thanks
The problem
After launching the Netatmo inetgration I was able to see all my switches, plugs, rolling shutters and the weather station but not the energy meter (BTicino F20T60A) and the witeless switch "home / out of home" (BTicino K4500C or K4570CW). thanks for your help
