With update to 2024.1.3 ThermoPro devices do not show data anymore #108140

The problem

With update to 2024.1.3 ThermoPro devices do not show data anymore. The devices are shown in the gui as normal. The get the data via bluetooth.

habluetooth.scanner.ScannerStartError: hci0 (B8:27:EB:B8:10:82): Timed out starting Bluetooth after 15 seconds

Your bluetooth adapter or the driver has crashed.

Unplug the adapter and plug it back in, or power down the system, and start it up again

If it keeps happening replace the adapter with a high performance one from https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/bluetooth/#known-working-high-performance-adapters or an ESPHome Bluetooth proxy:
