Radarr integration calendar entries a day out #110107

Open derekoharrow opened 7 months ago

derekoharrow commented 7 months ago

The problem

I use Radarr for movies and have setup the HASS Radarr calendar integration.

In radarr it will show movies with one date, whereas in HASS is shows the movies, but a day earlier.

If I run the linux date command in both my radarr and hass containers, it shows the correct time for each.

What time zone are you in? Does that match what is in your Home Assistant General Settings? Those have to match. My guess is that you are GMT or GMT+.

There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently. Due to the high number of incoming GitHub notifications, we have to clean some of the old issues, as many of them have already been resolved with the latest updates. Please make sure to update to the latest Home Assistant version and check if that solves the issue. Let us know if that works for you by adding a comment 👍 This issue has now been marked as stale and will be closed if no further activity occurs. Thank you for your contributions.

behaviour still present in core-2024.5.5

tkdrob commented 3 months ago

Can either of you try the changes from https://github.com/tkdrob/core/tree/radarr_cal_tz_fix? If you are not sure how, check out developers.home-assistant.io. I want to find someone who can verify the issue is actually fixed.

  • I am not using radarr integration - so unfortunately I can't test the fix
  • I can see the behaviour is still present in core-2024.5.5 when syncing my synology calendar via caldav integration
  • would be happy to test corresponding fix in caldav integration

If you don't use Radarr, then I don't know why you are posting in this issue. This issue is strictly for the Radarr integration. Check out Discord, the community forums, or any issues both open and closed in this repo that may have already offered a solution. If and only if you can't get a solution from those sources, then you can open a new issue with the correct integration label and give a detailed description of the issue so the correct code owner can help you
