Any updates on this issue? Been having the same problem since the 2024.2 update, So far the only lasting solution is downgrading the update to 2024.1.~ otherwise one would have to keep reloading the integration or restart HA continuously.

Mine are Zigbee. They work fine with the tuya app, however on HA it just refuses to work how it use to. So my guess is the issue lies with HA and the upgrade as it relates to tuya integration.

Also forgot to add: my workaround was to create an automation to reload integrations when the sensors are stuck in a particular state for a period of time. So far so good, still monitoring the situation.

Upgraded to 2024.3.1 Tuya motion detector state now changed from "Detected" to "Clear", probably because of HA restart after upgrade, however they now do not register detections. Constantly show "clear". Detections are registering in Tuya but not HA. Have reloaded Tuya integration. No difference. Anything else I can try? EDIT: Nope I stand corrected. One of my detectors just registered a detection, but is now stuck on "detected" again. So no change to original issue, except that exchange of info between Tuya and HA seems to be patchy? EDIT AGAIN: Both PIRs now stuck on "Detected" again. Issue remains.

I can confirm that. I still have my TUYA Developer account and I can see that it reports the correct state. I changed the integration to the SmartLife API (QR-Code method). Within HA, the "motion detected" state has been remaining for the last 22 hours now.

My solution: kick out the TUYA PIRs and install the new Aqara. Dwell time can be set as short as 10s.

I have this problem to - TUYA PIR sensors getting stuck in the "motion detected" state and never clearing. And it still exists in 2024.6.0. I have a pyscript-based workaround that clears the state after a while, but this isn't perfect and doesn't really allow me to use the PIR sensors to control lighting. I've had to move those automations back over to Alexa, where everything works properly.

If there's anything I can do to help figure out the problem and ideally to fix it, I'm happy to help...
