Hey there @w1ll1am23, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (econet
) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

The error you are saying is telling its turning something on, that's not in line with what you're saying
That's the dilemma. I'm trying to turn the water heater off by using the UI to change the state to "off" (which the heater responds to correctly when creating the scene). Then when I run the scene, it throws that error. Why it's trying to call a "turn on" when I'm trying to turn the heater off doesn't make sense.
There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently. Due to the high number of incoming GitHub notifications, we have to clean some of the old issues, as many of them have already been resolved with the latest updates. Please make sure to update to the latest Home Assistant version and check if that solves the issue. Let us know if that works for you by adding a comment 👍 This issue has now been marked as stale and will be closed if no further activity occurs. Thank you for your contributions.
The problem
I'm using the UI to create scenes for turning off the Econet water heater, and the water heater turns off correctly while setting up. However any time I call a scene or automation that turns off the water heater in the same fashion I get the "failed to call service scene/turn_on. unexpected error" message and there's no way around it. Turning on the water heater in the exact same fashion works fine, its turning it off that keeps giving errors.
