i hope this gets integrated, i just got 30 of them, would be a shame if i could only control them trough the smart life (tuya) app. they also dont work in google home, they do get listed but always appear offline, no matter if i unpair and pair them or disconnect and connect the smart life app in google services.

I have the same issue. Running 2024.6.1

Please look into this one, as I have a number of these lights which I am about to have to take out due to not connecting to HA.

Regards, Ben

I just want to add that i wrote that they dont work on wifi, buy you need to have a tuya bluetooth gateway, or a tuya multi mode (zigbee, bluetooth, wifi) GW018-DM gateway (also unupported by HA) and then you can at least control them trough Google Assistant with your voice, and i think since they are bluetooth, in case of loss of internet connection you can control them with your phone trough the tuya app although i have not tested this theory yet.

Still hoping for HA integration, i've thought about returning these lights a couple of times but they are the only reasonably flat downward facing rgb-cw-ww lights at a reasonable price i could find.

BenRogersAU commented 4 months ago

The version that I have wich are listed as Beacon RGBCW's work on wifi.

Any news? Best regards /Peter

Still waiting on this - hopefully sometime soon this can be integrated into HA.

I'm having this problem, but even more interesting is that I can't call a tuya scene to turn the light on.

With other unsupported devices I was at least able to create a scene in the tuya app and then call that scene from HA.

Note it's the smart home app that reports scene failed to run not HA yet I can manually run the scene in the app.
