Linptech Presence Sensor ES1 (Wi-F) - No illumination entity created #115839

Open BambamNZ opened 5 months ago

BambamNZ commented 5 months ago

The problem

Hello

Need a little help please with a Human Presence & Illumination Sensor

There is no illumination entity created although the values are visible in the diagnostic (attached) file. The other entities for Motion etc. are created as expected.

image

I have also checked that it is not just a, not enabled / disabled entity

image

Also changed the device class from "motion" to "occupancy" but no change regarding illumination being available as an entity

Thanks

I have another problems, where presence sensor doesn't have illuminance sensors with Example here. What I am using is Treatlife Wife Presence Sensor. This is relatively new product, but I am seeing three open issues so I don't want to open a new one.

Tuya integration detects 2 entities image

But in the IoT Tuya app, there are 5 more. In the screenshot below, you will see the first three values are already brought into Tuya image

However, these last 5 are not, including illuminance. So I think it's there but the integration hasn't been able to grab it. Would appreciate your help. Thank you! image

@pab-nguyen looking at the info provided and comparing it the sensor I have, they are the same thing under the hood. Diagnostic output from mine has all the values you are referencing as well. I also looked into using Local Tuya, but being so new it is not being picked up
