Tuya Robot Vacuum limited usability #116982

Closed Zoli000 closed 1 week ago

Zoli000 commented 4 months ago

The problem

I have a Tuya compatible Robot Vacuum (realme Techlife Robot Vacuum), which is working perfectly with all functions from Tuya Smart app (used with Android). Added this device to Home Assistant using the Tuya integration and recognized it, but only with very limited functionality. The only fuctions working are:

Sensors:

I have no information about it's status (always show unknown), no battery info, nothing else. The Tuya IoT Platform has much more available information and control features, I dumped them here: properties_realme_vacuum.json

Map functions are not needed, just to be able to use the control and information features. I'm willing to provide additional informations if it helps solving this limited usability issue.

This is what the device information in Home Assistant looks like: HA2 HA

Thank you for reading, Have a nice day! :)

Same problem here, but different Tuya vacuum Seems to never show a status so can not do any automations from HA. here is my config tuya-8325dd6b6617c18c795cfa7512e3e968-Jess-3267a07c66853eca11a8b6660a38e88c.json Had a look at the PY code for tuya vacuum but didn't get far sorry I did not status in config shows status Booleans in lower case which does not match the PY code but that is probably just a language syntax thing (don't know python" Happy to help if I can
