Tuya (Cloud) entity missing for water timer device.

The problem

All entities are detected and created properly, except the "countdown". This entity is listed in the debugging .json file. It is impossible to switch the water on without setting the countdown first I used "device debugging" in tuya cloud to verify this is true.
