3 weeks ago I have the same issue on 2024.6.2 - The device tracker entity from the app (device_tracker.device_tracker_xyz_iphone_app) show me an old location from 20 hours ago. In the Home Assistant app on my iPhone under Settings / Compagnion App / location / history the location was always correct. I´ve tried to refresh the location, but it seems to be not working.
After checking the mobile integration I found something very weird; my iphone shows up numerous times:
The problem
When I updated my home assistant core to 2024.5.4 the location's of the mobile apps doesn't work anymore. it freezes en the state are not changing at all when I look in the companion app settings and go to location is see in the location history that there is location receiving. I downgrade my core to 2024.5.3 and it works again, so somewhere in 2024.5.4 is there a fault.
