Update: The HWE-P1-G1 software update changed the device MAC address. Found it in the DHCP of my router with a dynamic address. It does respond to the http://IP-Adres/api on that ip.
Changed the DHCP reservation to the new MAC address. Solved!
After the update to version 5.16 the MAC address changed again.
Since a while I cannot see anything in the Energy (Energie) dashboard. I discovered this only when I wanted to change the tariffs earlier this week. I deleted the Homewizard device in HA and added Homewizard P1 and the energy sockets after a full reboot of my HA machine. But still in Energy all my measurements are gone over the last few years. The Energy Configuration tab returns an UNKNOWN ERROR.
Was there a language change? English to Dutch??
The problem
After updating the Home Wizard HWE-P1-G1 to software 5.13 Home Assistant is not able to communicate with the device. Checked local API setting, rebooted the device and restarted Home Assistant. Disabled the device in HA, enabled it again, rebooted HA again. Error occured while communicating with the HomeWizard Energy device.
The API http://IP-Adres/api is not reachable for the HWE-P1-G1 device. All other HomeWizard devices respond to their http://IP-Adres/api call.
