MelCloud delay in detecting temperature change #120790

Open Aironside opened 2 months ago

Aironside commented 2 months ago

The problem

The problem is that even if the split temperature changes, Home Assistant reveals the change after several minutes. I tested the value of the Temperature attribute using the Home Assistant Tools and it actually continues to report the old value for some time, while on the air conditioner app (IOS) the change is immediate.

There is indeed a known behaviour now, that Mitsubishi has a delay with its devices. This happened after a recent update. Unfortunately this is not something that can be controlled in HA.
