Tesla Wall Connector's Energy Wrong Measurement (Random Spikes) #121590

Open txtasosxt opened 1 month ago

txtasosxt commented 1 month ago

The problem

The "Energy" sensor of the integration has phantom spikes which are wrong. The energy measured in this sensor does not align with the home's energy meter or with the car's battery, it's showing that I have added 4 times the capacity of my car's battery!

The sensor "Session Energy" seems to be correct, but cannot be used in Home Assistant's Energy dashboard because it resets to 0. image

This seems to be a long lasting issue since I've seen it reported here in January 2023: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/tesla-wall-connector-energy-usage-sensor-shows-wrong-consumption/512135/8
