How to stop bluetooth requesting pairing with iPhones #121896

The problem

I have HA and use bluetooth with several Govee T&H sensors and it works fine. But repeatedly we see alerts on our iPhones saying home assistant wants to pair with the phone. This is a nuisance - how do we stop it, please? Each time we say no, but it keeps coming back. This gets annoying. I've posted in the forum at https://community.home-assistant.io/t/how-to-stop-bluetooth-requesting-pairing-with-iphones/739418/1 but apart from two other people saying they have the same problem, there has been noone offering help.

I've updated HA today but am still getting these nuisance requests. Any progress?

How do I unclose this issue? I closed it by mistake - the UI is confusing.

OK I found a reopen button offscreen :(
