My unit, BRP15A61 has not worked under both 2024.08.0 and 2024.08.1. It's the one that requires a password. Works flawlessly under 2024.7.4 Getting these errors in the log: "2024-08-11 08:43:58.734 ERROR (MainThread) [pydaikin.daikin_base] Exception in TaskGroup: 'DaikinSkyFi' object has no attribute 'headers' 2024-08-11 08:43:58.737 ERROR (MainThread) [pydaikin.daikin_base] Exception in TaskGroup: 'DaikinSkyFi' object has no attribute 'headers' 2024-08-11 08:43:58.737 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.daikin] Unexpected error creating device 192.168.1.137"

Same issue and error logs as above. Rolling back to 2024.8.0 fixes the issue. Suspect problem due to bump to pydaikin 2.13.2

pedromrg commented 1 month ago

Same issue here using 2 indoor units with module: BRP069B4x with Firmware version 3_1_123 Rolled back to 2024.8.0 fixes the issue

mcharltonau commented 1 month ago

broken under 2024.8.1 - BRP15B61. Was ok prior.

barneyonline commented 1 month ago

Issue also covered [https://github.com/home-assistant/core/pull/123519] and [https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/123550] Will be fixed as part of this PR: [https://github.com/fredrike/pydaikin/pull/13]

RonFac commented 1 month ago

The issue I raised in [https://github.com/https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/123416] is still unresolved by 2024.08.01. Regressing back to 2024.07.04 fixes the problem. It would seem that there are various legacy issues involved in this change. Why not regress back to the version of pydaikin that was used in 2024.07.04 until these matters are all sorted out ?

Same issue here, only happened in the last patch 2024.8.1

There is an open PR in the library to resolve; https://github.com/fredrike/pydaikin/pull/16

fredrike commented 1 month ago

There is a new version pushed to pypi now, this change should be updated soon.

frontfoto commented 1 month ago

Maybe a bad question, but running HA on HAOS, how would I force upgrade this package?

Luther-Blisset commented 1 month ago

Same issue since Update to 2024.8.1 with DAIKIN P86744

migdard commented 1 month ago

Same issue here. Downgrading to 2024.8.0 with ha core update --version=2024.8.0 resolved it. Skipping 2024.8.1.

frontfoto commented 1 month ago

@migdard thanx for the prompt. I downgraded as well and Daikin has connected as usual. Skipping 2024.8.1 as well and waiting for 2024.8.2.

ferdyvi commented 1 month ago

LeDominik commented 1 month ago

Same issue here, happened on Patch-Update to 2024.8.1. I literally turned on the AC on 2024.8.0 and then thought - oh well let's update and now I can't turn it off 🥲

Error is Exception in TaskGroup: 'DaikinBRP069' object has no attribute 'headers'

These are older WLAN modules on Daikin Stylish, no API key or anything...

rblumenthal678 commented 1 month ago

Ditto ... same issue after patch update 2024.08.01.

Playmaster35 commented 1 month ago

Same here. Just updated. Daikon not available. Restored backup and everything works again. Skipping this version hope it’s resolved in the next version.

AkhiOdys commented 1 month ago

roelerps commented 1 month ago
