roborock_vacuum_e2: Action vacuum.return_to_base not working if state is Cleaninng #124179

Open Human opened 2 months ago

Human commented 2 months ago

The problem

If a Roborock e2 vacuum is cleaning, action vacuum.return_to_base has no effect. As a workaround, it's possible to send action vacuum.pause and then action vacuum.return_to_base.

What version of Home Assistant Core has the issue?

core-2024.8.1

What was the last working version of Home Assistant Core?

No response

What type of installation are you running?

Home Assistant Container

Integration causing the issue

Xiaomi Miio

Example YAML snippet

Anything in the logs that might be useful for us?

I see no logs at all for this vacuum.

Additional information

I also have a Roborock a27 using the Xiaomi Miot Auto integration via HACS, and I am able to directly issue a "return to base" action without first pausing, so I suspect the issue lies with the Xiaomi Miio integration and not Vacuum.
