Onkyo zone 2 and 3 wont change volume #124560

Closed ryanturnersmith closed 1 month ago

ryanturnersmith commented 2 months ago

The problem

Since Onkyo changes, when powering on zone 2 and 3 there is no option for volume. When sending command, the following error occurs: Failed to perform the action media_player.volume_down. Entity media_player.stereo_zone_2 does not support this service.

If manually changing zone 2 volume on the stereo, it appear and starts to work. Onkyo model: TX-NR3010

There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently. Due to the high number of incoming GitHub notifications, we have to clean some of the old issues, as many of them have already been resolved with the latest updates. Let us know if that works for you by adding a comment 👍 This issue has now been marked as stale and will be closed if no further activity occurs. Thank you for your contributions.

I would really appreciate you posting the debug logs. Otherwise fixing this will not be possible.

To do that, just add:

logger:
  logs:
    homeassistant.components.onkyo: debug
    pyeiscp: debug

to your configuration.yaml
