Link Google account to NEST integration not working as per documentation #124775

The problem

https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/nest/#configuration highlights that there should be an Advanced button, however after following all steps - at this stage I am presented with no option; screenshot attached - please can you suggest fix. Screenshot 2024-08-28 112444

Hello,

I believe this means you either:

filled out extra data in the App Information as mentioned in the instructions under the section "Configure OAuth Consent screen". The docs say Omit unnecessary information (e.g. logo) to avoid additional review by Google which I think may be happening here
the app is in "testing" mode and needs to be set to production in the oauth consent screen

There was a similar discussion here https://github.com/home-assistant/home-assistant.io/issues/34434 so you aren't the only person to get into this state but sharing so you can see how they resolved.

I'm going to close since this is not a home assistant bug, but happy to continue to discuss in the community forums if you need support. Thanks!
