The problem
I use the values from voltage, current and power sensors from a frient energy-monitoring smart plug using ZHA. Occasionally, a transient, erroneous value is reported which would appear to be derived from 16 bit binary values (655 volts and 65.5 amps, presumably derived from 65535) and -32768 watts. I have messaged with frient and they believe this will be an issue in the HA integration code. If that is the case, unless there is frient-specific code in there, I would imagine that other devices will also be reporting these transient values.
