PowerLinc USB Modem 2413U looses connection #128288

The problem

Every couple of days, the Home Assistant looses connection to the Insteon PowerLinc Modem. Logs mention not being able to open a port. This problem has been happening for about a month or so. Only thing to do it to reboot the Raspberry Pi. Restarting Home Assistant alone does not resolve the issue.

I have updated the Raspberry Pi 5 firmware and it’s now been a few weeks without disconnect. So that might be something for you to try!
