ViCare integration does not turn off the heating in HVAC state off #128398

Open soeffi opened 2 hours ago

soeffi commented 2 hours ago

The problem

The Climate HVAC state 'off' is mapped to Vicare's "ForcedReduced" mode. The latter, however, is actually intended as a heating mode with reduced target temperature (typically used during night). In order to stick to Home Assistant's definition of HVAC mode 'off' (= The device is turned off), I suggest to map this mode to Vicare's 'standby' mode instead.
