Tuya Climate work_state not present #128912

Open atredici opened 1 month ago

atredici commented 1 month ago

The problem

The thermostat entity does not return the boiler on state. So it is not possible to know if the boiler is on or off. Checking the tuya API, it seems that this property is present in the response (work_state attribute) /v2.0/cloud/thing/{device_id}/shadow/properties, but that it is not shown as an attribute of the thermostat entity

It would be very useful in automations, if it would implemented.

I would love to have this as well. Only workaround is using local-tuya integration, which shows heater state correctly.
