UDM PRO MAX problem with integration Unifi Protect. SOLVED !!! Authentication fails if no HDD installed !!! #130272

The problem

UDM PRO MAX problem with adding integration for Unifi Protect . I have info : invalid authentication . I have tried with Unifi Network and all works but not Unifi Protect.

What version of Home Assistant Core has the issue?

core-2024.11.1

What was the last working version of Home Assistant Core?

I'm sure it's implied, but for clarity, here's what I see:

I tried logging into unify with that account and I can confirm that it works. The integration doesn't accept it though. I'm on Protect 5.0.51

I have solved my problem ... my hard drive in UDM PRO MAX was damaged and not avaible in unifi protect that s why it was not possible to make integration and log in ... so if your HDD is damaged / not working / or you have no HDD at all then it will not allow to log in :)

Are you serious xD I DO have a faulty HDD. Please change the title of this issue to reflect this.

This way we miss the opportunity to track the issue. It'll be better if you put something like: "Authentication fails if no HDD installed"
