Forecast Solar End of Solar Day Issue #130568

Closed ianwood closed 6 hours ago

ianwood commented 16 hours ago

The problem

Forecast solar has recently been providing very inaccurate data at the end of the solar day. Instead of trailing off as it normally does, it ends near peak output.

image

No settings have been changed. System has been upgraded to latest release versions. Here's an example with actual usage. image Note that the integration was up until recently working mostly OK. It ended the solar day as one would expect with output trailing off, not peaking as in these two examples. For the past several days, the forecast shows a peak at the end of the day when output should be trailing off. There is something wrong.

This is a question that is better asked in the forecast.solar Discord server, as something may have gone wrong in the provided data and that is not an integration issue in Home assistant.

./Klaas

OK. Will ask there.

Can confirm data is off also when tested outside of HA as well.
