Finally came back on, went down about 2:19am and came back on at 9:41am, heres the logs home-assistant_2024-11-14T08-21-05.645Z.log
RAM? I've been running on a 1GB Pi4 for a few years now, but the last couple of months it has become unstable. RAM use was constantly above 80% so I suspect it is running out of RAM that is causing the restarts. I replaced it this week with a 8GB NUC and it is running smoothly again after I figured out that to restore from backup on a new install you have to go into the command line and update the supervisor with "ha su update" otherwise the "restoring backup" screen just sits there and spins for hours.

out of 4gb of RAM its only using 1.9, processor is sitting on like 16% usage......i just cant figure out whats going on. Im going to spin up a virtual machine, recover the backup and see if it does the same thing, if it doesnt then the problem must be the Pi
ok so, i got Home Assistant running on a Virtual Machine, recovered my latest backup and its been running since 18:00 yesterday and hasnt become unresponsive, so now im down to 3 things......either the network cable is not ok, the network port or the pi itself......think its time to retire the pi4
The problem
This started a few weeks ago, initially saw that my HA on a Ras Pi4 would become unresponsive at 8pm and only come back on around 8am. I checked everything I could, turned off schedules on anything, tried to fix any errors and initially it started happening again but on another time frame, now its just random and not even rebooting the Pi makes it work, it comes on when it comes on. I thought maybe the SD card was done for so I replaced it and its still happening, Ive tried fixing any errors I could see, after the latest webrtc updates I saw a lot of errors so I thought it was bombing out with 1000's of errors so I removed all my cameras and it still happens.... when I look at the Pi, the 2 netowork lights flash at the same time about every 2 seconds. Im starting to see that Im going to have to do a new fresh setup which is going to take forever as Ive been running for years, can anybody help? I cant put more info on here yet cause Im waiting for it to start working again.
