You can still keep discovery active. Just add songpal to ignore list.
ignore:
- songpal
Thanks for the comment. I agree, but I would think there is something else going on. The Android TVs are not listed in Sony's list of Songpal devices.
@SP410 the sony android tv's do have songpal functionality....a lot of it....its just we don't need it so we ignore it.
This should have been fixed by https://github.com/home-assistant/netdisco/pull/180 - please reopen if this is still an issue!
Home Assistant release with the issue:
0.66.1 **Last working Home Assistant release (if known):** 0.64.X **Operating environment (Hass.io/Docker/Windows/etc.):** Raspberry Pi 3, Sony Bravia TV configured. **Component/platform:**https://www.home-assistant.io/components/media_player.songpal/
Description of problem: With "Discovery" enabled, I receive multiple "songpal" errors in the log. I do not have a songpal device; however, I do have a sony bravia android tv. When disabling discovery, the songpal error disappear. I have no songpal entry in configuration.yaml.
