Unable to install package RPi.GPIO==0.6.1 on 0.78.0 #16747

Home Assistant release with the issue: 0.78.0

Last working Home Assistant release (if known): 0.76.2 (I upgraded from this version)

Operating environment (Hass.io/Docker/Windows/etc.): Hass.io

Component/platform: RPi.GPIO

Description of problem: RPI.GPIO fails to install

You are using pip version 10.0.1, however version 18.0 is available.
You should consider upgrading via the 'pip install --upgrade pip' command.

There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently. Due to the high number of incoming GitHub notifications, we have to clean some of the old issues, as many of them have already been resolved with the latest updates.

Please make sure to update to the latest Home Assistant version and check if that solves the issue. Let us know if that works for you by adding a comment :+1:
